Frozen or Unresponsive Screen – PAX Terminal Troubleshooting
✅ Step 1: Attempt a Soft Reboot
Useful when the device is stuck but still showing something on screen.
Method A: Using Buttons
- Press and hold the Green (✔️) and Red (❌) buttons together.
- Hold for 5–10 seconds until the screen turns off.
- Wait for the device to automatically reboot.
Method B: Using the Power Button
- Press and hold the Power button (usually on the side/top) for 10–15 seconds.
- Release when the screen turns off, then press it again to turn the device back on.
🔁 Step 2: Perform a Hard Reboot (If No Response)
Use this when the screen is totally unresponsive or frozen with no change.
- Unplug the device from power or remove it from the charging dock.
- Wait 2–5 minutes.
- Reconnect to power.
- Hold the Power button (or Green + Red buttons) for 15 seconds until reboot starts.
🔌 Step 3: Check Power and Battery
Use this when the screen is totally unresponsive or frozen with no change.
- Make sure the device has enough charge.
- Plug it into a known working charger and leave it for at least 10–15 minutes.
- Then try powering on again.
