How to Connect a PAX Device via Bluetooth

Applies to PAX models like A920, A80, A35, etc.

๐Ÿ”ง Step 1: Open Bluetooth Settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon (โš™๏ธ).
  2. If prompted, enter the admin password (e.g., 9876 or pax9876@@).
  3. Go to Bluetooth.

๐Ÿ“ฒ Step 2: Enable Bluetooth

  1. Toggle Bluetooth ON (if itโ€™s off).
  2. The device will start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices automatically.

๐Ÿ” Step 3: Pair With a Device

  1. From the list of found devices, tap the name of the device you want to connect to (e.g., a Bluetooth printer).
  2. Confirm or enter the pairing code/PIN if prompted (commonly 0000 or 1234โ€”refer to the device manual).
  3. Tap โ€œPairโ€.

โœ… Step 4: Confirm Connection

  • Once paired, the device should appear under Paired Devices.
  • Some peripherals (like printers) may require additional configuration in the payment or POS app.

To unpair or reset:

  1. Go back to Settings โ†’ Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the device name under “Paired Devices”.
  3. Select โ€œUnpairโ€ or โ€œForgetโ€.
