Printer not turning On
✅ Step 1: Check Power Connection
- Ensure the power cable is firmly plugged into both the printer and wall socket.
- If using a power adapter, check both ends (to the printer and to the wall).
- Try a different wall outlet.
✅ Step 2: Check Power Switch
- Ensure the power switch is in the “ON” position.
- Some models have the switch in an inconspicuous location (back or side).
✅ Step 3: Look for Lights or Sounds
- If no lights or sounds occur:
- Unplug everything
- Wait 10 seconds
- Reconnect only power cable and turn on
- Unplug everything
- If there’s still no response, continue to next step.
✅ Step 4: Try Another Power Cable or Adapter
- The power cable or adapter may be defective.
- If possible, test with a known-working compatible adapter (check voltage & amp rating).
🧪 Additional for Zywell Printers:
- Some Zywell models have a reset switch near the power port—press with a pin if available.
- Ensure no burn smell or overheating on the adapter.
- Try disconnecting the USB/Ethernet cable during startup.
🧪 Additional for Epson Printers (e.g., TM-T88 series):
- Try holding the Feed button while turning it on. If it prints a test page, the issue may be communication, not power.
- If using a power brick, verify LED on the brick itself (if available).
- Try a full power reset:
- Disconnect power cord
- Hold Power button for 10 seconds
- Reconnect power and try again
- Disconnect power cord
⚠️ If Still Not Turning On:
- Swap to a different printer station or power outlet.
