PAX Device Not Responding / Freezing – Solutions
Solution 1 – Soft Restart (Reboot the Device) Steps:
- Press and hold the Green (✔️) and Red (❌) buttons simultaneously.
- Keep holding until the screen goes black and the device restarts.
- Wait for the device to fully reboot.
📝 This works on most PAX models (like A920, A80, etc.) and is safe for everyday use.
Solution 2 – Hard Restart (Force Reboot)
Use this if the soft restart doesn’t work or the device is completely unresponsive.
Steps:
- Disconnect the charger or power cable (if it’s plugged in).
- Wait for 2–5 minutes to allow any residual charge to drain.
- Reconnect the power and press the power button to turn the device back on.
- Wait until the device fully boots up.
⚠️ Avoid doing this frequently. If the issue continues, it may be a hardware or software problem needing deeper inspection.
