🔄 Option 1: Soft Reset (Reboot Only)
This clears temporary glitches but doesn’t remove pairings.
✅ Steps:
- Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds.
- Release when the LED blinks or turns off.
- Scanner will restart.
🏭 Option 2: Factory Reset (Full Reset + Unpair)
This will unpair the device from all hosts and reset to factory settings.
✅ Steps (General for most Socket models):
- Turn on the scanner.
- Press and hold both buttons:
- Power button
- Scan (trigger) button
- Power button
- Keep holding for 15–20 seconds until the LED flashes red, amber, and green in sequence.
- Release both buttons.
- The scanner will reboot and be reset to factory defaults.
🔁 Option 4: Re-Pair with Host Device (Bluetooth HID Mode)
Steps:
- Power on the scanner.
- Scan the following Bluetooth HID Mode barcode to configure:
(or find it in the Socket pairing guide here) - Go to your host device’s Bluetooth settings.
- Look for “Socket CHS” or similar and connect.
